The writer here warns about the ease in which we can fall into disbelief and disobedience. It is easy to mock the Israelites but this Scripture shows us that all humans are susceptible to the pitfalls of sin. We find rest in trusting that Jesus is better than anything else we might try to put our trust in. Think through what you might need to let go of in order to trust Jesus more.
