Matt Macnaughton

Lead Pastor; Elder

Matt grew up in Orange Park, Florida and as a teenager, he realized his need for Jesus. Matt completed his Master’s of Divinity at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. It was there Matt fell in love with the Gospel and the grace of God. He enjoys reading and working around the house, he is an avid Atlanta Braves and Florida Gator fan and truly believes that Batman is the greatest superhero of all time. His greatest joy is getting to spend time with his wife and kids. Matt and Julie were married in 2007.

Matt and Julie, along with four other families, started Grace Life Church in 2015 with the desire to see families experience true grace found in Jesus. 

Ben Beck


Ben serves as the church operations director, playing piano and lending his voice to the praise team on Sunday mornings. He recently completed his Master of Arts in Bible through Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville. His Bachelor's degree is a BM in Music Education from Western Michigan University. He is on staff at Jacksonville University as a collabrative pianist, and performs for various theaters, competitions, and other events throughout the state of Florida. A Disney enthusiast and an avid runner, he actually enjoys running the Disney marathon each January. No, really - he LIKES to run.

Courtney Payne

KidLife Director

Courtney serves as the Kidlife director, as well as helping lead worship on Sunday mornings. She earned her BS in Business Administration from the University of Mobile in 2015 and shortly after moved to the Jacksonville area. Courtney fell in love with children’s ministry while traveling with a ministry group in college, serving children’s homes across the Southeast. She also works as an event planner for TechWell, a software developing company. In her spare time Courtney enjoys spending time with her family and friends and playing with her two dogs, Ollie and Paisley.
